In 2008, Hamptons Collegiate Baseball set out to become one of the top summer programs in the nation, providing first-quality competition, coaching and facilities, all in the backdrop of a world-class resort community.
On the field, we have placed teams that have been ranked nationally in the summer league rankings. Each summer, HCBL recruits a group of talented and dedicated athletes from universities that range from Long Island to the west coast and everywhere in between. As of 2018, more than a dozen HCBL alumni have graduated to the major leagues.
Our alumni have enthusiastically endorsed their HCBL experience, including the high quality of competition and coaching, ample playing time, accommodating host families, free memberships to state-of-the-art gym facilities, proximity to the beaches and New York City, outstanding recreational life and all else that a summer out in the Hamptons has to offer.
Outside the lines, we have been successful in building new fields, updating and renovating the existing ones, and inspiring community youth to reach for dreams of their own. Our success has garnered national media attention, including featured articles in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. East End residents and local businesses have passionately embraced their home teams, and we’ve also gained great support and credibility from those in the professional and collegiate baseball circles.
HCBL Mission Statement
Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League aims to recruit the nation's best college baseball players and provide a venue that will showcase skills and provide eastern Long Island with free family entertainment during the summer. The HCBL will develop alliances with businesses, civic leaders and community members that will enable us to more effectively and efficiently accomplish our mission of providing such entertainment, improving area ballfields, hosting youth baseball clinics and facilitating lasting relationships between the players and the community.
